No, I was mostly APSA (13 years)

I work in the College of Education in the Office of Research Administration. My role is to provide pre-award and post-award support to faculty in the College of Education.

What brought you to your job at MSU?
Most of my time here at MSU I have been on the post award side of research administration in the NSF Science and Technology Center – BEACON Center. I was fortunate enough to start up the Center with the PI and stay with the Center until it sunset after 12 years. The role in CED allows me to continue with my post award experience as well as dive into the pre-award side of things.

What do you enjoy most about working at MSU?                                                                        I have been fortunate to meet wonderful people here at MSU. I appreciate the excellent benefits that MSU offers to employees.

What do you like to do when you are not at work?
Most of my non-working time is spent hanging out with my husband of 37 years. We are also enjoying spending time with our four (soon to be five) grandchildren… watching them grow is such a blessing!

In high school I was known for high energy and participating in the marching band and pep squad.

People would be surprised to know I am skilled at DIY projects around my home.

I have 0 pets

I like Christian, gospel, jazz, and classical music

My favorite area restaurant is Marcos Pizza and my favorite dish is Chicken Florentine Pizza.

My hobbies include watching a good movie with my hubby, shopping, and dancing.

My favorite junk food is popcorn because I love the mixture of sweet and salty. My favorite is mixing cheese and caramel together.
